Family visit hotel, okay if you're not picky

Had a comfy room with good breakfast options. The lady at breakfast was very cheerful and took good care of everyone, even made sure to refill the bacon just when I thought it was gone!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but acceptable in terms of what we got.

I had hoped for cinnamon rolls, but they were gone. The A/C in the room wasn’t functioning properly, leading to a very uncomfortable night. I had some trouble finding outlets to charge my devices as well. Overall, I enjoyed the staff's friendliness, but the issues with amenities and breakfast items were disappointing. The presence of ongoing renovations around the hotel made things feel a bit chaotic too.

We had a great time with friends during our stay. The breakfast was excellent with a nice variety, and the fitness center was a plus after visiting the Orville Redenbacher Popcorn Festival. The staff was helpful, always making sure we were taken care of.

However, the front desk was often empty on Sunday morning when we needed assistance, which was a bit frustrating.

i really loved my stay at holiday inn express! the staff was very friendly and the location was perfect for my needs. i enjoyed the hot breakfast every morning, and the pool area was spotless. it felt great to relax in a lounge chair by the pool. highly recommend!
